How to reach Tirukalukundram Temple

Hi All,

Today I'm going to share my experience, and how I reach Tirukalukundaram temple from Bangalore.

Tirukalukundaram Temple near to Chengalpattu.

Early morning started from Bangalore (St.John Bus Stop). Direct Bus from Bangalore to Vellore nearly it take more than 4 hrs. From Vellore, got direct bus to reach Tirukalukundaram Temple via Kanchipuram, but it will take more than 3 hrs.

Temple Open after 4 :15 PM only.

In mountain temple open after 5 PM only.

No Direct Train to reach Chengalpattu from bangalore. So I choose to travel from bus.

Tirukalukundarm Temple Maps Direction from Bangalore

Temple is famous for Eagel, Sangu and Girivalam.

Every day 2 eagle will come to mountain and eat food.

Sangu will birth 12 yrs once in sangu theertham

kanni rasi pariharam sthalam.

Nearest people like (chennai, chengalpattu, kanchipuram) can go Girivalam every pournami (Full Moon Day). No Need to go Thiruvanamalai for girivalam on Full moon day. It will take more than 4 to 5 hrs to travel from chennai.
